Curriculum
As you begin to research options of homeschooling, it is easy to become overwhelmed with the amount of information available to homeschool families. There are many methods of teaching and an abundance of resources for each style. It’s a sea of possibilities and can be difficult to navigate. Tucker Academy can assist your family in navigating the inundation of information to find styles and programs that will integrate into your family’s lifestyle and meet your child’s learning style. Our mission is to see families succeed and find the magic along this voyage.
Legality & Evaluation
These two topics go seamlessly together. Evaluations are mandated by Pennsylvania each year. During this evaluation, you will be asked to present a number of items to the evaluator to ensure the PA standards have been met. Therefore, it is most common for our homeschool families to begin with a session to understand how to pull their students from their current school and to learn of their expectations throughout the year. When the legalities and standards are clear, the evaluation processes is stress-free. Again, Tucker Academy is abundantly willing to hop on ship and help navigate the sea of homeschooling!
